Royal Australian Navy wool trousers 40s ultra high waist WWII deadstock 25 25x30

These are a pair of original 1940s (1942 to be exact, they are labelled) Royal Australian Navy fall/winter wool trousers in a dark navy colour. They are deadstock, but altered in the 1970s to be more of a bellbottom with a high waist for women. They open with many buttons at the front and are lined at the top with pinstriped cotton.
The waist is EXTREMELY HIGH UP. I bought these for myself but would have to remove some ribs to wear them. Please pay close attention to the measurements.
12.25" across top (24.5 doubled)
17" rise (so the top measurement will hit wherever 17" up from crotch of wearer is)
17" across hips (34" doubled) (this is where the hips are on me, I am 6 ft tall, may be a couple inches different on someone shorter)
30" inseam
44" long
