Vintage 1989 Yanagisawa Elimona S880 Soprano Saxophone

Regretfully selling my rare 1988-1989 Vintage Yanagisawa Elimona S880 Soprano Saxophone. Made in Japan. This was Yanagisawa's absolute top of the line professional saxophone at the time, and it absolutely is! This is the best soprano I have played, done many many gigs and shows with it. It is in fantastic vintage condition with lovely lacquer wear, and it has that dark honey colour. Intonation is spot on with both the straight and curved neck. Sound is on the dark side but with plenty of projection. I used it for jazz and contemporary settings, but was also play tested by a local Selmer Paris artist who absolutely adored it! Has key raisers for better ergonomics. All pads seal and the instrument has always been maintained to top professional standard. I am a repair tech and used to work in a music shop, compairing the sax to Yamahas, Selmers, and other Yanagisawa and this is my favourite! Comes with original case in good condition (one latch spring needs replacing, works but doesnt spring like the other). Includes both original necks and a spare thumb rest.
